PETITION TO REVIVE-RECEIVED; trademark application abandoned; federal trademark application; revive a trademark application; trademark application; office action response; no statement of use; defective statement of use; defective sou; revival of trademark; petition to revive
If you received this notice, your trademark application was abandoned. The cause could have been that you failed to file a response to an office action, or you may not have filed a statement of use or an extension of time to file a statement of use. You then filed a petition to revive. The petition to revive has been received by the USPTO, but it has not yet been granted or denied.
At this stage, there is no action required on the part of the applicant. The USPTO will examine the petition to revive, and if it is proper, will revive the application. If the USPTO finds that it is not proper for revival, then the Petition to Revive will be denied.
A Revival can be filed here: http://teas.uspto.gov/pse
For further information, please refer to the USPTO correspondence that you received when you filed the Petition to Revive.
